Hey, I'm sunita tomer.
I'm a small-town girl with dreams that always felt bigger than the place I came from.
On paper, my life looked very different. I earned a Bachelor’s in Pharmacy, completed my MBA, and spent eight years building a successful career in the pharmaceutical industry across India and abroad. But deep inside, I knew my heart belonged somewhere else.
Fashion had always been my first love.
So I made the hardest decision of my life. I left the comfort of my corporate career, studied fashion designing, and returned to my village in India with nothing but a dream and the courage to believe in myself.
Many questioned my decision. Some thought I was walking away from success. But I’ve always believed that dreams don’t care where you come from—they only care if you’re brave enough to chase them.
That's How Vastra By Lara Was Born.
Every fabric is personally handpicked by me. Every design begins with a sketch, an emotion, or a story. Every silhouette is refined until it feels just right. If I wouldn’t proudly wear it myself, it never becomes a Vastra By Lara creation.
The journey hasn’t been easy. There have been sleepless nights, failures, and countless lessons. But every challenge strengthened my belief that I was exactly where I was meant to be.
Today, every order is more than a purchase.
